More so than in past years, I am very ready for fall. I’m ready for bonfires, toasting marshmallows, cozy sweaters, & spooky books.
While summer reading is one of my favorite ways to indulge in this hobby, fall reading brings something different to my reading life. I find myself slowing down and turning to books of the season: spooky middle grades that shift the atmosphere, but not so creepy I lose sleep; puzzling mysteries that turn my brain, and psychological YA thrillers that make me just a bit nervous.
Since we’re all still a bit shut-in this season, I thought another reading guide was due. Life still looks different. Things are hard. It’s time to get cozy and turn to books. So, this fall reading guide is all about getting lost in fall story worlds and feeling all the feels of the season.
It’s short and sweet but full of perfect reads for middle grade, young adult, and crossover readers, plus a fun fall activity to help you enjoy the season more.
Subscribe to my newsletter, Lost in Story, below and you’ll receive the guide immediately in your inbox, then, I’ll pop into your inbox at the twice each month: around the 15th with book recommendations & around the 30th with updates about my writing journey.
And sometimes…I even share sneak peeks of my works in progress!
Here’s to getting lost is story, and finding cozy reads this season!
