February Challenge goodies

February is here friends! How did your first month of the Lost in Story Challenge pan out?

My January was one for the books for sure. Between planning out my to-be-read list, several unexpected snow & cold days from school, and a weekend holed up with the flu, I had plenty of time to read! Overall, I ended up finishing:

  • all three books for The Lost in Story Challenge (plus an extra one!)

    • Tower of Dawn by Sarah J. Mass

    • Hey, Kiddo, by Jarrett Krosoczka // Kind is the New Classy by Candace Cameron Bure

    • Winter Magic curated by Abi Alphistone

  • two books for The Reading Women Challenge (#22 & #23)

  • two books on chasing art (for me it’s writing!)

  • nine books in total

I think I picked up some really good books to start the year off, and I’m pretty happy with January’s reading overall. To say I’m excited to keep going in 2019 is an understatement!

Which means, there are more goals to chase. Just like last month, the printable has a few more goals then the bookmarks as my hope is that you are doing this challenge with some friends, family, students, or just varying your reading life. So picture books are totally readable options, and do not count them out.

If you end up hanging the printable somewhere, I’d love to see it! You can add it to the comments, send me an email or tag me on Instagram (@caitlin_lore)! Make sure to use #lostinstorychallenge or #lostinstoryreads when you’re sharing your books so we can see what everyone is reading this month. It’s also not too late to post one of these images over on your feed to encourage others to join in.

Leave me a comment about what you read in January, and what’s on your list for February. If you want to receive the challenge lists and bookmarks ahead of the month, make sure you’re subscribed to my newsletter, as I’ll be sending out March’s halfway through the month so you can get a head start planning.

Here’s to getting lost in story together!
